Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Nakusp, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,920-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The Nakusp Emergency Services Department requires a storage building for emergency response equipment. The Proposal is for the construction of a Storage structure to be used to house Emergency Services equipment and vehicles. The location is on the grounds of the existing Nakusp Emergency Services Facility at 300 8th Avenue NW in Nakusp BC. Structure: Dimensions of the structure are to be minimum of 60’x32’ Clear height from slab to lowest point of ceiling/roof structure must be 12’ Permanent structure compliant with all applicable codes. Three enclosed sides, one long side open, or open into each 12’ bay for a minimum 10’wx12’h. The structure may have column/wall supports that divide the length into 5 12’ width bays. Roofing/siding material must be steel or equivalent lifespan product. Foundation: 5” thickness full building reinforced concrete slab on properly compacted grade and footings as required by code. Concrete to be minimum 32 MPa for slab and 25MPa for footings. Slab is to be air entrained, broom finished. Other: No Mechanical, electrical or plumbing required. Project Costs: The proposal must be inclusive of all management, supply and installation costs. The cost must include building permit fees and application. The Village will assist to a reasonable degree with filing the application, the contractor must supply satisfactory Schedules A and B.
