The Luzerne County Flood Protection Authority (LCFPA) is tasked with the maintenance and operation of the federally authorized Wyoming Valley Flood Risk Management Project along the Susquehanna River, near Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The administration of the Project is performed through the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District. As part of the Corps continuing certification of the Project, the relief wells in the system must be inspected and hydraulic pump tested on a five (5) year basis. There are approximately two (2) active relief wells in the Exeter levee reach, 76 active relief wells in the Kingston to Edwardsville levee reach, and 54 active relief wells in the Wilkes-Barre to Hanover Township levee reach.BID TYPE Fixed Fee Contract Clarification Deadline: 6/2/2022 4:00 PM The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
