Contractors will visit a private residence in Dubuque, Iowa, make recommendations regarding modification needs, complete their own measurements, and submit a bid based on their own specifications. There are no existing plans for this job. Permits, equipment, fixtures, supplies, plumbing, drywalling, additional labor, and removal of all leftover materials and debris included. Construct dust control barricade and cover flooring to front door. Remove the following: Existing baseboards, bath vanity and vanity top, linen closet, fiberglass shower and toilet, master bedroom closet wall/bathroom wall, closet doors, closet shelving, bath floor underlayment. Refasten existing sub-flooring with 1 5/8" construction fasteners. Frame in closet wall to extend bathroom width. Prop wall between master bedroom and office. Install new 2'-8" door header. Prop ceiling in hallway and front bedroom. Remove drywall on bedroom side. Install 3'-0" pocket door frame in bedroom and install 3'-0" pocket door frame in bathroom (doors are to be installed directly across from each other). Frame around B vent in bathroom and lower level bedroom. Hang 1/2 " drywall on walls and ceiling throughout rooms as needed. Install pocket door frames and doors in bathroom and front bedroom. Install 2 1/2 " door casings and 3 1/4 " baseboards. Move B vent for water heater and move cold air returns in bedrooms to accommodate new door locations. Install new outlets and switches, LED can light above shower area, new quiet bath fan, and owner's vanity lights in bathroom. Move front bedroom switches to accommodate pocket door and install LED can lights (2) in new master closet. Install shower and floor tile with zero entry to shower. Paint bath ceiling and walls, master closet walls and ceiling, wall in front bedroom and office, and drywall repairs in bathroom. Install 3/8" clear glass shower enclosure approximately 48"W x 42" H. Work will take place at a private residence in Dubuque, Iowa. All work will be ADA compliant and will comply with State of Iowa and Dubuque County residential building codes.
