The contract was awarded to S&L Industrial for a total bid of $349,361.60.*8 THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SWEETWATER COUNTY, WYOMING 2022 PAINT STRIPING - The work consists of furnishing of all labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment and services required for the Sweetwater County 2022 Paint Striping Project on approximately 134 miles of various county roads PROJECT VARIOUS COUNTY ROADS No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date of the bid opening. All bids are to be prepared in accordance with the contract documents which were prepared by Sweetwater County located in Green River, Wyoming. Bidders are advised that Wyoming Statutes 16-6-102, 16-6-103, and 16-6-104 regarding a five percent (5%) preference shown to Wyoming Contractors, the limitation of subcontracting no more than thirty percent (30%) of the contract work, and preference for Wyoming products, are applicable to the Project. Bidding Documents will be furnished for review in connection with the preparation of bids in the Director of Public Works Office, Sweetwater County Courthouse, 80 West Flaming Gorge Way, Suite 23, Green River, WY 82935. Any questions regarding the biddings documents or the work to be performed in relation to the above described project shall be directed to Gene Legerski, P.E., Sweetwater County Director of Public Works at 307-872-3921. No bids will be considered which are not submitted on the original proposal forms, signed by the authorizing representative of the bidder and submitted in the envelope clearly marked 2022 Paint Striping Project. No bids will be considered in which the Proposal, Specifications, or any Provisions have been modified. Bids must be received in the office of the Director of Public Works of Sweetwater County on or before the time and date specified. Bids received after the time specified will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. The Board of County Commissioners of Sweetwater County hereby notifies all bidders that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this Invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, religion, sex, color, national origin, age or disability. All bids will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Sweetwater County for their acceptance and awarding the contract(s) at their regular meeting, held on the 15th, day of June, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. in the Meeting Room of the Board of County Commissioners. The Board of County Commissioners of Sweetwater County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or technical defects in bids, as may be in the best interest of Sweetwater County. No verbal explanations, clarifications, additions, or instructions will be binding to either Sweetwater County or the Bidders, except those confirmed in writing. A signed contract, furnished to the successful bidder, results in a binding contract without further action by either party.
