Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Holly Hill, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Holly Hill is requesting proposals from experienced marine contractor(s) to replace an approximately 240-foot section of concrete bulkhead with a vinyl sheet pile bulkhead with integral concrete cap and concrete batter piles. The installation of the new bulkhead will be constructed immediately waterward of the existing bulkhead. Removal of the existing bulkhead cap will be required to facilitate the construction of the new cap. This RFP contains plans approved by the city. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the City of Holly Hill, Florida, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. NO bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the bid opening without the consent of the City of Holly Hill, Florida. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Contract one hundred percent (100%) Performance Payment Bond which must be recorded by the Clerk of the Court, Volusia County, and enter into a Contract for Services with the City of Holly Hill. No bids received after the time and date specified for the opening will be considered. The City of Holly Hill, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all nonsubstantial irregularity in bids reviewed, whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the City.
