Renovation of an educational facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
*** Awarded contractor is not being released. The reconstruction of the stair treads of the east exterior stairs leading to the 300 level of the University Centre Building at the University of Manitoba Fort Garry Campus in Winnipeg, MB. Demolition work includes the careful demolition of existing concrete stair treads and risers without compromising the structural stair stringers. Construction work includes the construction of new concrete risers glued with no skidding anti slip FRP solution and concrete treads with cast in place Wabocrete nosing for top and bottom stairs. The contract also includes the supply and installation of new steel handrails on both sides of the existing concrete stair sidewalls. Documents are available at https://umanitoba.bonfirehub.ca/ * Only those companies, who are on the list of Pre-qualified General Contractors of University of Manitoba, are eligible to bid this project.
