Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Project DPW-2221 for which proposals are being sought includes providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and construction methods for the installation of approximately 5,410 l.f. of new 8" ductile iron water main and appurtenances including the replacement of approximately 425 l.f. of storm sewer ranging in size from 8" to 24", concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk patching, and asphalt pavement restoration of the trenches and other items on Chewink Court, Wren Avenue, Leonard Road, Plum Grove Road, Willow Wood Drive, Willow Court, and Salem Court in the Village of Palatine, as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and agreement. All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Village of Palatine. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond, the amount of the check or bid security shall be forfeited to the Village of Palatine as liquidated damages. Award of Contract DPW-2221, if one is to be made, is tentatively scheduled by the Village Council no sooner than their regular meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2022. The letting of this contract is subject to Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Village of Palatine reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to accept any proposal which the Village Council deems most favorable to the interests of the Village.
