Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Bids will be received for the proposed work which generally consists of reconstruction of approximately 5,100 feet of roadway including Syene Road from Aurora Avenue to Nannyberry Park, intersection improvements, traffic control, pavement marking & signing, erosion control, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain, stormwater management, lighting, traffic signals, and all appurtenant work. The majority of the work consists of the following items: 33,400 cubic yards of excavation common, 23,800 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 11,300 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 25,700 ton of base aggregate dense, 9,300 ton of select crushed material, 4,300 ton of HMA pavement 3 MT 58-28 S, 3,200 ton of HMA 5 MT 58-28 S, 3,300 linear feet of storm sewer pipe reinforced concrete, and all other work for the Syene Road Reconstruction Project in the City of Fitchburg, Dane County, Wisconsin. The City of Fitchburg reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the actual time of opening Bids.
