Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Meeteetse, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,100-square-foot fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
The Owner proposes to build a new facility of approximately 3,100 SF at 2131 Nebraska Street in Meeteetse Wyoming. The building is proposed to be pole barn construction with a concrete floor and turned down edge slab. The building is to house the Rec Departments exercise equipment and contains restrooms, janitors closet, office and mechanical loft space. The owner seeks to retain the services of a highly qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide comprehensive preconstruction and construction management services. The CMAR shall exhibit: Experience in successfully completing projects at or over $750,000. The projects construction budget is currently in the range of $900,000, i.e. without all soft costs, etc., and may increase with additional fundraising efforts. Experience in successfully completing CMAR delivered projects. The CMAR must be completely skilled in developing schedules, preparing construction estimates, performing value engineering, analyzing alternative designs, studying labor conditions, and understanding construction methods and techniques. The CMAR must be completely skilled in coordinating overall direction of the work, and monitoring progress of the subcontractors, vendors and any self-performed work as required. The Meeteetse Rec Districts objective is to complete the Project on time and under budget, while maintaining the Meeteetse Rec Districts commitment to quality, efficiency, value, innovation, sustainability, and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
