This project will consist of reconstruction of two irrigation Diversions on the Pitchfork Ranch to provide fish passage at the Diversion and prevent entrainment (or loss) by screening each of the Diversions. The irrigation Diversions and source waters are: 1) Dumpling Diversion on West Timber Creek and 2) Rock Creek Diversion on Pickett Creek. The Dumpling Diversion will involve moving the headgate upstream, construction of a corrugated water fish screen and new irrigation ditch, as well as in-channel grade control structures. The Rock Creek Diversion involves removal of a concrete diversion structure, installation of grade control structures in the stream and construction of a cone screen at the point of diversion.
