Renovation of a municipal facility in Dumont, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of March 7, 2024, per owner, design team/general contractor has been identified. Construction began on February 1, 2024. Clear Creek County is seeking bids from qualified professional vendors for replacement of the HVAC and hot water heater equipment. The qualified vendor must show possession of skills necessary to maintain and improve effectiveness, enhance its quality of services, minimize down time and support costs, and ensure comfortable working conditions for staff and the animals. The vendor will work in conjunction with Clear Creek County Animal Shelter staff. Clear Creek County is seeking bids from qualified professional vendors for replacement of the HVAC and hot water heater equipment. The qualified vendor must show possession of skills necessary to maintain and improve effectiveness, enhance its quality of services, minimize down time and support costs, and ensure comfortable working conditions for staff and the animals. The vendor will work in conjunction with Clear Creek County Animal Shelter staff. The Animal Shelter facility is occupied with office space, break rooms, restrooms, and several indoor and outdoor animal kennels. The facility hosts six employees and multiple volunteers daily, Monday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The County seeks to retain a qualified firm to provide all engineering, design, permitting and construction and/or construction oversight required to remove the existing HVAC system and water heater, make any essential repairs, and install a new HVAC and water heater system. The Project includes possible architectural, civil and structural engineering, construction testing, construction oversight, and contingency. The purpose of this Request-for-Bid is to obtain relevant information, credentials, qualifications, experience and a proposed Project Approach from interested Firms to inform the Board for selection of a roof replacement company for the Project. Question & Answer Period Begins May 13, 2022 Question & Answer Period Ends May 25, 2022 These dates are subject to change based on funding appropriations. Any revisions to the above schedule will be posted on the Clear Creek County website "Bid Postings" link. It is the responsibility of all submitting firms to review this website for scheduling updates as well as Request-for-Bid modifications and addendums. Expected Period of Contract: A contract beginning in June of 2022 and to be completed by September 15, 2022. The County will appoint a Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will analyze the submittals and will evaluate the Firms regarding their qualifications and expertise, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, capability of professional staff, location, project approach and demonstrated performance as well as ability to maintain budget and schedule considerations. The County reserves the right to reject any and all Responses and to waive any informality, technical defects or clerical errors in any Reponses as the best interest of the County may require. Selection procedures will be conducted in conformance with all applicable qualifications-based selection requirements.
