Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Big Lake, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a water / sewer project; and educational facility.
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to make various improvements to the water systems at Big Lake and Butte Elementary School. Big Lake ES work includes separating domestic water from fire protection water, new exterior above ground fire water storage tank, and decommissioning an existing below ground interior water storage tank. Butte ES work includes a new water line from existing water well, separating domestic water from fire protection water, new exterior above ground fire water storage tank, new pressure tanks, and decommissioning an existing below ground interior water storage tank.
