Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Palmer, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide repair services to a Gym bathroom and entryway for damages resulting in frozen pipes and water damage from the recent wind storm. Broken pipes have been repaired and are not included in this solicitation. Sheet rock removal to access broken pipe repair requires patching and a small bathroom shall be completely repainted. This project is partially funded by a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Grant . Questions Due Date: Apr 14th 2022, 5:00 PM AKT This may require removal of entire deck down to the floor joists and rebuilding the deck with a tapper from the entry to the gym court surface. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, shipping, and incidentals required to complete the Work. B. The contractor is responsible for verifying the existing conditions. C. The contractor is responsible for proper removal and disposal of all waste, debris and excess materials. D. The MSB dumpsters are not to be used. E. The MSB gym surface shall be protected from repair activities. F. Electronic copy (PDF) of material submittals G. The exposed joists shall be inspected by the PM prior to replacement of the new flooring assembly
