Work of this Contract comprises the following: .1 Refurbishment of the Grassi Lakes Trail near the Grassi Lakes Day Use Area as shown in the Drawings including: (a) Removal of existing wood retention and installation of rock retention around the Lakes; (b) Code of Practice watercourse crossing maintenance involving removal and decommissioning of existing crossing and installation of wooden bridge; (c) Refurbishment of signage and fencing, including one gate; (d) Reclamation and Refurbishment of Lower Trail rock stairs; (e) Realignment of Lower Trail involving some rock excavation; (f) Reclamation; and, (g) Other improvements per Drawings .2 Project Locations & Site Coordinates: Grassi Lakes Trail, Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park 51° 4' 23" N, 115° 24' 20" W Site Vehicle Access to the Lakes from Highway 742 is along Ken Ritchie Way, to the Grassi Lakes Trailhead, and along the Upper Trail
