The City of Alameda (City) is a unique island community of approximately 79,000 people faced with a wide variety of environmental, climate change, land use, planning, and transportation issues and challenges. The City is seeking experienced firms (Consultants) to establish an on-call list to provide structural engineering services. The City will review proposals, rank the firms, and invite three to five firms to enter into a $750,000.00 contract with the City for a five year term, to provide on-call structural engineering services. On an as-needed basis for individual projects over the term of the contract, the City will solicit proposals from all three on-call firms. Consultants shall submit one electronic pdf file of the information in Section IV above. Inquiries regarding the RFP may be made via email to Tawfic Halaby at (510) 747-7937 or thalaby@alamedaca.gov. The deadline for inquiries is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
