Renovation of a power facility in Stoughton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The Project consists of installing 15 kV substation breakers, replacing voltage regulator controls, relay panel additions, low voltage wiring and fiber optic cabling in an existing electrical distribution substation. Bids will be received for a single Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or a Bid Bond equal to at least 5 percent but not more than 10 percent of the bid payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond(s) within the time limit established by the Owner. If the successful bidder so files the contract and bond(s), upon the execution of the contract by the Owner the check or bond shall be returned. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond(s) the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages.
