Alberta Parks is experiencing higher than typical visitation at many sites across the Province. This is resulting in significant parking congestion issues and overcrowding of sites in particular on weekends at the most popular Day-Use sites. Given the need to ensure continuous emergency services access, supporting visitor safety and enjoyment through orderly use and ensuring adequate controls are in place to manage the volume of users at particular sites is important. Having control over vehicle entry during times of high usage is a critical component of ensuring pubic safety and staff safety requirements are managed appropriately. Thus, Alberta Parks will implement on-site traffic management at a number of specific sites between June 15 and September 15, 2022. This Request for Quote is for the delivery of traffic management services at multiple sites. Aspen Beach Provincial Park a)Entrance/Exit to Ebeling Day Use area (access from Hwy 12a) b)Entrance/Exit to Brewer's Campground (access from Hwy 12a) c)Entrance/Exit to Lakeview Campground (access from Hwy 12a) d)Any additional location deemed necessary by the Contractor to ensure traffic management objectives can be achieved safely and effectively Crescent Falls Provincial Recreation Area a)Entrance/Exit from Hwy 11 onto Crescent Falls PRA access road.
