In compliance with Texas Government Code 2254.004, The Lewisville Independent School District ("LISD" or "District") is soliciting Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") from qualified firms relative to the provision of Commissioning Services for Lewisville ISD. The information contained in this RFQ may be used to identify firm(s) to provide these services. The third-party commissioning agent will support the Lewisville Independent School District's (LISD) efforts to ensure that select systems in major additions and construction projects are properly designed, installed and functioning per the design intent and LISD requirements upon occupancy, and that the LISD staff has adequate system documentation and training. The commissioning agent(s) will act as an independent third party consultant(s) and shall not be associated with the design team assigned to the project(s). Commissioning firms should be familiar and experienced with all procedures and requirements with respect to sustainable design practices such as CHPS, LEED, leadership and energy and environmental. Commissioning firms should have accredited professionals with experience in the review of building design and construction documents. Firms will be expected to demonstrate the ability to provide services under rigid schedule requirements. LISD reserves the right to select more than one firm to perform commissioning services for the RFQ. The Commissioning Service firm(s) will have substantial portions of their work administered and reviewed by the Executive Director of Construction.
