Site work for a water / sewer project in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The quantities herein represent the Project Manager's estimate of the amount of work to be completed. These estimates are to establish line item pricing and will not necessarily be matched with those quantities of the final actual work done. The proposed improvements consists of removing concrete or asphalt pavements, including roadways, driveway or sidewalks, excavation, repair and/or removal and replacement of sanitary sewer laterals of various materials and repairing or replacing of sanitary wyes of various materials as necessary, backfilling excavations with compacted crushed rock or soil, replacing pavements, seeding disturbed areas, and other work related in multiple locations throughout the City of Davenport as defined in this contract. This program will also cover the need to repair private water services that cause a nuisance on City property separate from sewer lateral repairs. The contractor shall begin repair work promptly after is has been assigned to them by the City of Davenport. All work to the assigned job shall be completed within ten (10) working days following the date of contractor notification.
