Site work and paving for a civil project in Victorville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of August 09th, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. The city is planning to award the project to Apple Valley Construction Co., Inc., but has to go to council to be approved. No timeline of award was established. This is a pipeline replacement project involving the installation of new 8-inch piping, fittings, valving, and appurtenances in the City of Victorville. Because all pipes are buried under paved roads, the project will require excavation, potholes and asphalt-work including saw-cutting, removing, replacing and backfill along with recompaction, pipe flushing, testings and more For more information, contact Celeste Calderon at (760) 955-5082 or cmcalderon@victorvilleca.gov. Bids must be completed by a Proposal Guaranty in the form of cash, a certified check, a cashier's check or a corporate surety bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder must possess a valid Class A and/or C34 California Contractor's License at the time of the award of this contract, to complete the work as described; any contractor not licensed shall be subject to the penalties imposed by such laws. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to award a Contract to the bidder who best meets its requirements. Estimated Range is 3.2M-3.3M
