Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Port Huron, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Plugging, Drilling, Re-drilling and Site Restoration at the Buckland Industries Well in Saint Clair County. Only vendors who have been awarded a Contract through the prequalification process under RFP# 210000000834 and RFP# 220000000547 are eligible to submit a proposal for these services. All terms, conditions, specifications agreed upon during the RFP process remain in effect for this project. For bidding purposes, it is estimated that this project will take approximately 21 days. Prevailing wage laws will apply to this project. Prior to mobilization, a pre-con meeting will be conducted with the successful vendor to review and confirm items. Prepare location, including calling MISSDIG, removing Buckland sign and flagpole, along with sidewalk near the wellhead. The roof overhang and cinder block wall extension will need to be removed by licensed contractor, prior to startup. Carefully excavate around wellbore and install cellar. If well casing is present, make necessary welds and connections to prepare BOP. Ensure H2S safety equipment is onsite. Kill well as necessary. Clean out wellbore with appropriate bit and jetting tools to estimated total depth (TD) of 600'. If necessary, cement in new section of surface casing pipe, preferably 100' below base of drift (BOD estimated at 100'). If casing exists, run a cement bond log from TD to surface. Use bond log information to determine if free pipe can be pulled. Pull free pipe. Under static conditions, cement wellbore from TD to surface using a 50/50 POZ mixture, with gas block cement additive. WOC 4 hours and tag. If necessary, add enough cement to bring it up to 4' below surface. Cut off casing string(s) at least 4' below grade, weld 1/2 " steel plate on casing, with permit number on plate. Restore location as per OSC direction. The roof and wall extensions will not need to be re-installed. Note: This well has the potential to contain H2S, so, H2S safety equipment is required to be in place prior to commencing plugging operations and must include flare, enclosed tank, H2S safety trailer and an H2S scavenger additive, if needed.
