Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Crown Point, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project will consist of four (4) Prime Contracts: The Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing/Process contracts have been bid and awarded previously. All Addenda issued during that bidding process are annotated in Appendix F and G of the Project Manual. The portion being bid under this notice is for the General Construction (GC) Contract ONLY. Work is generally described as follows; General Construction (GC): The contract includes water production and treatment upgrades for the municipal water system, consisting of 2 water treatment plant and a water storage tank. The project includes removal of existing concrete structures, piping, equipment upgrades and miscellaneous site improvements. The Project is located in Crown Point, NY. The Owner requires the project to be substantially completed on or before September 1, 2023. It is the policy of the Owner to encourage disadvantaged business enterprises, including minority and women business participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. Additionally, all Bidders shall comply with the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation Program Requirements Mandatory Terms and Conditions, Effective November 1, 2021. Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of 5% of the Bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. Contractor's bids are irrevocable for a period of (45) days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
