5000 Town of Crown Point - Wastewater Pump Stations and Disinfection The project will be bid and awarded as One (1) Prime Contract. Work is generally described as follows; General Construction (GC): The contract includes upgrades to 4 existing wastewater pump stations and treatment upgrades to the existing wastewater treatment plant, consisting of a UV disinfection system and misc. site upgrades. The project includes the installation of concrete structures, equipment upgrades and miscellaneous site improvements. The Owner requires the project to be substantially completed on or before December 31, 2024, and final completion on or before May 31, 2025. It is the policy of the Owner to encourage disadvantaged business enterprises, including minority and women business participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. Additionally, all Bidders shall comply with the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation Program Requirements and Mandatory State Revolving Fund Terms and Conditions for Contracts Funded with the NYS Clean Water State Revolving Fund or Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Effective November 1, 2021. Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of 5% of the Bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. Contractor's bids are irrevocable for a period of (45) days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
