The Trenton Township Trustees will accept sealed bids for resurfacing (Item 422MS - without polymer binder and use #9 aggregate limestone 22# per square yard minimum Single Seal RS-2 -0.35 gal/SY) and (SS1H asphalt liquid cut with water @ l:1 ratio applied @ 0.08 - 0.10 gal/SY) for up to 8 miles of various Trenton Township roads of 18' width on a per mile unit basis. Bids will be accepted on a unit price bid for Ohio Department of Transportation specifications. All items are to be furnished and applied by the successful bidder in accordance with the Ohio Department of Transportation specifications and at the direction of the Trenton Township Trustees. A bid bond, cashier's check, certified check or letter of credit equal to l0 percent (l0%) of the unit price bid multiplied by the Engineer's estimated quantities shall be required. A performance bond in the full amount of the bid shall be required from the successful bidder. Said bond shall be in the name of the Trenton Township Trustees within ten (l0) days from the date of award. The successful bidder shall comply with Sections 4ll5.03 to 4ll5.l6 Ohio Revised Code, Prevailing Wages for Public Improvement. Monies used to pay for this project are being provided by American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and have specific requirements that are provided in the Addendum to the contract. The Trenton Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and/or all bids.
