To meet the short and long term operational goals of Colorado Springs city leadership, we are addressing Disaster Recovery with two independent projects: A. Project #1: Ransomware Recovery B. Project #2: Disaster Recovery Assessment and Plan The first project is underway with in-house resources and our existing backup/recovery vendor and is aimed at quickly enhancing our recovery abilities in the case we are ever held hostage by ransomware. For the second project, which is the subject of this RFP, we are looking for a vendor to assess our existing data center, infrastructure and applications to produce a right-sized disaster recovery plan and recommendations. Note that a business impact analysis (BIA) and continuity of operations (COOP) plan are being handled separately and we can provide high level input to guide the disaster recovery plan vendor in these areas Cut Off Date for Questions May 25, 2022 1:00PM Questions about the RFP must be submitted to Mike Zeller, at the following email address: michael.zeller@coloradosprings.gov. The City intends to evaluate the Norwood and Stetson SIMDs separately, and award Norwood and Stetson to the highest ranked Offeror in each area. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
