This Project is entitled Eagle Shield Water Treatment Plant Pre-Sedimentation Basin Building. The Project consists of constructing a new metal building covering the existing Pre-Sedimentation concrete basin. Important Notes on the Project o The Bidder is advised that the Owner is an entity of a federally recognized Indian Tribe constructing the Project under a Contract with a Federal Funding Agency, as set forth more fully in the Bid Form. Award of the Project will be contingent upon the Owner receiving funding from the Federal Funding Agency. The Project shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable Tribal, Federal, State, and local Laws and Regulations and terms of the Owner's agreement with the Federal Funding Agency. o The selected Contractor shall, in all solicitation or advertisements for employees placed by or on the behalf of the Contractor, state that all applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, creed, color, or national origin, and that a preference shall be applied for qualified Indian applicants. o All laborers and mechanics employed by selected Contractor or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by: (a) the laws of the United States in accordance with the schedule of Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor and included in the Project Manual; and (b) Tribal prevailing wage rates, if any, as published by the Tribal Employment Rights Office.
