Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Haven, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,429-square-foot medical facility.

Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, apparatus, tools, equipment, services, and supervision necessary to perform the Morgue and Building 35A Roof Replacements project also identified as Project Number 689-22-207 at the West Haven, Connecticut Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). This project shall be performed and completed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238160 with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. In accordance with Public Law (P.L.) 109-461, this acquisition is a total set-aside (100%) for Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). Refer to Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 852.219.10 for information and requirements concerning SDVOSB consideration and classification. Bidders must be both visible and verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) at the time of bid submission and at the time of award. Failure to be verified by CVE and visible in the VetBiz Portal on Vendor Information Pages (VIP) prior to contract award will result in the bidder being ineligible for award. Furthermore, bidders shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) under FAR 52.204-7 at the time of bid opening and remain registered in SAM for the duration of contract performance. A Pre-Bid Site Visit will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM EST. Participants shall meet the Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), Leon Qubick and Vincent DiPilato, in the Conference Room of Building 15 at the West Haven VAMC.
