Remodeling of a detention facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the remodel of a detention facility.
The work includes but is not limited to remodeling the current 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor visitation rooms as well as the 3rd floor medical exam and 3rd floor chapel. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or credit union certified share draft, in a separate sealed envelope in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw a proposal within thirty (30) days after the date set for opening bids. Bids shall be made a lump sum bids, and no bid may be withdrawn during this period.
