Renovation of an educational facility in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work shall include the following at the Main Campus Buildings: Sangamon Hall and Menard Hall: Work includes the removal and replacement of multiple doors, frames, and hardware as shown on the drawings. Child Development Center: Alternate Bid G-1: Interior Renovation work to replace and repair water damage. Alternate Bid G-2: Brick Work to prevent future water infiltration. All work shall be bid under one prime contract. Estimated Project Cost: $100,000 Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid, payable to Lincoln Land Community College, Springfield, Illinois. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required of the bidder(s) to whom a contract is awarded. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that bids are received by the above office prior to the deadline. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Contractors who have submitted a bid are invited, but not required, to attend the bid opening. All contractors and subcontractors shall demonstrate experience on projects of similar size and type. While this project is not administered by the Capital Development Board all contractors and subcontractors must be pre-qualified with the CDB for a minimum of 45 day
