Renovation of a stadium in Torrington, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Kneehill County is inviting proposals for the renovation or repair of the arena exterior of the Ron Gorr Memorial Arena located in the hamlet of Torrington, Alberta by an experienced and qualified company. The Arena is currently functional but is ageing and requires renovations or replacement due to the development of multiple leaks owing to the age of the building. The corrosion, damage and degradation of the exterior walls are causing water egress and have led to structural damage to the facility. This has diminished the curb appeal which is affecting rentals and tenets. Some of the current wall penetrations and flashing are not properly installed and have been patched or repaired over the decades.
