Site work and paving for a road / highway in La Feria, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

As of 7/21/2022 project was already awarded for $2,185,383.90. Conditional bids will not be accepted. Bids sent via facsimile shall not be accepted If using Land Courier (i.e., FedEx, UPS): 115 E. All email pertaining to this project should have "City of La Feria - 2022 Streets Rehabilitation Project" included in the subject line. A BID BOND, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of La Feria, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BONDS by an acceptable surety for performance of the contract and for payment of mechanics and materials suppliers will be required from the successful bidder in the amount equal to 100% of the accepted bid to the City of La Feria. The City of La Feria reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all bids, to waive any or all formalities, or technicalities, and to accept the bid to be the best and most advantageous to the City and hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders' qualifications prior to the contract award. Furnish labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to provide erosion and sediment control for the duration of the construction period including furnishing, installing and maintaining erosion and sediment control structures and procedures and the proper removal when no longer required. The intent of this specification is to provide guidelines for the Contractor to adhere to all State, Federal, and Local environmental regulations. It is also the intent to provide preventive measures to keep sediment from entering any storm water system, including open channels. It is the Contractor's responsibility to adhere to all State, Federal and Local requirements. While the Owner may require the Contractor to install erosion control devices during construction, this will in no way relieve the Contractor of his responsibility.
