Oberlin Gasholder Building (Structural Floor Repair) Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each Bidder must submit evidence of their experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be substantially completed no later than September 30th 2022. This contract will be performed in accordance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Program of the city of Oberlin. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Lorain County and the City of Oberlin, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Work Safety. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the City in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the City as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening the Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The City of Oberlin reserves the right to accept the lowest and/or best bid, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to enter into the contract which, in the sole judgement of the City, will best suit the City's needs.
