The UC Berkeley Seismology Lab (BSL) operates several autonomous remote geophysical observatories ("stations") throughout northern California. In general, stations are located in a geographical area from north of Bakersfield, CA, to the California-Oregon border. Such stations contribute to the earthquake early warning system called ShakeAlert. In an effort to provide more timely and accurate warnings, additional stations are needed to provide for a more dense coverage network. The base scope of work is for the construction of five (5) stations per the configurations listed below. A minimum of thirty (30) sites total, and up to sixty (60) stations total are anticipated. Construction of sites must be completed by March 31, 2024. Additional sites will be added to the contract per the unit prices provided by the contractor and the contract time will be adjusted accordingly - up to March 31, 2024.
