Renovation of a detention facility in Portage, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Columbia County is seeking bids from qualified contractors for repairs of the Huber Center/County Jail roof. Any person with a disability requiring special accommodations must contact the County no later than (seven) 7 days prior to the mandatory pre-bid meeting or bid opening. 1. Set up required safety equipment needed to comply with OHA construction guidelines. 2. Cut bridging membrane at vertical face of wall and relax. 2 sections of a total of 70 feet. 3. Pull back gravel to expose roof system. 4. Pull membrane back and add 6" RUSS at base of parapet wall. 5. Use methods and materials approved for membrane. 6. Re-adhere membrane back up parapet wall. 7. Add new piece of EPDM membrane and seam to existing membrane. 8. Push back gravel to cover roof. 9. Remove existing loose metal flashing (20 feet approx.) on upper roof area. 10. Install new cleat (if necessary). 11. Re-install metal flashing. 12. Clean up project area and dispose of debris materials safely. Estimated costing is only 10,000
