Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Chouteau, Oklahoma. Working plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.
As of Aug 4 the project was cancelled due to cost. Existing floor is to be mechanically scrubbed to remove contaminants. Heavy oil-stained areas will require a chemical treatment and washed to ensure that oil will not compromise epoxy coating. Concrete surface must be free of laitance, glaze, efflorescence, curing compounds, form-release agents, dust, grease, oil, and other contaminants incompatible with resinous flooring. Work will be required to be completed with little interference with normal operations, since this is a live area contractor will need to coordinate with G.R.D.A. a weekend schedule to perform task. Removal and replacing of equipment will be the responsibility of G.R.D.A. Area specified to be cleaned and painted are to be field measured. An area of 5000 square feet in the northwest area of the warehouse will be painted first. Time will need to be allowed to move existing equipment and pallet racking to this area once it has cured before the rest of the warehouse floor can be painted.
