The project consists of the demolition and disposal of the City of Blaine's Old City Hall Building located at 344 H St. in Blaine, WA. Work will include the removal and disposal of the building, walls, floors, and other items, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Special Provisions, and Standard Specifications, including the amendments thereto, and Standard Plans. All materials, equipment, labor, and other miscellaneous items required to complete the work shall be furnished by the contractor unless otherwise noted in the bid documents. The contractor shall not begin work on this project until after July 5, 2022. Opinion of Probable Construction Cost Range: $400,000 - $500,000 All proposals must be upon regular blank forms and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, cash, money order or bid bond payable to the City of Blaine in an amount equal to or exceeding five percent (5%) of the total bid. No other form of bid security is acceptable. A one hundred percent (100%) contract surety bond will be required. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive minor deviations from the specifications, or to waive any informality in proposals received, whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the City and to postpone making the bid award.
