City of Blaine is seeking bids for the purchase of cables of the following types and quantities: 6000 linear feet - 15kV UR type MV-105, 1/0 AWG Aluminum, filled strand with extruded semiconductor layer, 133% 220 MIL EPR insulation, extruded conducting insulation shield, full size copper concentric neutral and PVC over jacket The cable will be used for a 12.47/7.2 kV grounded wye system installed in underground duct bank conduits and operated at a normal temperature not in excess of 90o C and at 130o C for emergency operation. Cable length per reel shall be between 2000 linear feet to 2500 linear feet, except where less cable is ordered. Prices should be good through October 30, 2022. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities, and accept any submittals if such action is determined to be in the best interest of Blaine.
