The project consists of: replacing and installing traffic signal equipment at various intersections in the City of Billings. This work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of signal conduit, wiring, controllers, cabinets, pull boxes, accessible ramps, and other miscellaneous items. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the "City of Billings, MT" in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. Bids submitted via email shall have the bid bond scanned and included with the bid. Bids submitted via mail shall have any of the bid securities included. Description This work shall include the removal, and or relocation, of miscellaneous items that are located within the construction limits of the proposed project. These items include, but are not limited to the removal of storm drain, sewer lines, water mains, hydrants, abandoned utility conduits, inlets, manholes, culverts, light standards/foundations, fences, relocation and coordination with utilities, pull boxes, abandoning/capping pipe, and any other items that need to be removed or relocated from the construction limits. B. Removal Remove all unwanted material from the construction site and legally dispose of off-site in accordance with all Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations unless indicated by a property owner to be removed and salvaged. If any items are to be removed and salvaged, stockpile those items away from demolition area.
