Renovation of a transportation facility in Hayden, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The plans and specifications contained herein shall serve as the proposed replacement of the existing Yampa Valley Regional Airport Terminal Phase 2 Mechanical Second Floor Room Boilers BL-1 and BL-2. The primary replacements of BL-1 and BL-2 shall provide for existing capacity Replace existing Terminal Phase 2 Mechanical Second Floor Room Boilers BL-1 and BL-2 to include all Labor, materials, equipment and permits necessary to furnish and install replacement equipment as specified within this RFP and supporting documents. The scope of work shall include but is not limited to the following: o Remove existing boilers. o Install new boilers on existing concrete pad. o Adjust HWS and HWR piping connections to work with new boilers. o Adjust natural gas piping connections to work with new boilers. o Adjust flue and combustion air intake piping to work with new boilers. o Modify electrical connection as required to work with new boilers. o All new equipment shall be submitted for approval prior to placing equipment orders. o Demo existing systems and equipment that can't be reused and dispose of off-site. o Provide communication for automated monitoring/controls with Long Controls. o Coordinate with Long to integrate new equipment into existing boiler controls and building monitoring system. o Integrate controls with KMC building automation system. o Provide all electrical wiring and connections. o Project shall be sequenced to coordinate with airport support constant 24/7 heating/cooling at all times during replacement of equipment. o Modification to concrete pad, if required, shall be provided and installed by contractor. o Contractor responsible for confirmation of existing conditions. o Provide permit & permit fees. Routt County does not waive its own permit fees. o Exclude sales tax. Routt County is tax exempt. o Provide start up, testing and owner training. o Provide a minimum of 1 year warranty on equipment, materials, and installation. o Replacement boiler shall be manufactured by Aerco, Cleaver-Brooks, Lochinvar or RBI. Other manufacturers proposed shall be submitted prior to bidding for approval. Specified Equipment Replacement o BL-1 AND BL-2 BUDERUS SB 615-510 FORCED DRAFT - CONENSING 1776 MBH INPUT - NATURAL GAS 1634 MBH OUTPUT - 7,000 FT. ELEV., 120O F E.W.T. 3/4 HP, 208 VOLT, 3 PHASE PROVIDE COMPLETE WITH LOGIMATIC BOILER FIRING / SEQUENCING CONTROLLER 3842 LB OPERATING WEIGHT, 43" X 74" FOOTPRINT, 174 PSF INQUIRIES AND NO CONTACT POLICY a) All questions must be received, in writing, prior to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time July 22, 2022 and shall be directed only to Routt County Purchasing Agent Julie Kennedy at jkennedy@co.routt.co.us. Answers to questions received that would change and/or clarify this solicitation will be provided in writing, via an addendum to all firms that have received the original RFP after the date for questions has expired. In this way, we hope to eliminate multiple addendums. b) Questions will be answered by addenda that will be issued to all Offerors who received a copy of the RFP and posted on the Routt County website. The County shall not be legally bound by an addendum or interpretation that is not in writing. c) Any contact initiated by any Offeror with any County representative, other than the Purchasing Department representative listed herein, concerning this RFP is prohibited. Any such unauthorized contact may cause the disqualification of the Offeror from this procurement transaction. Information obtained from an unauthorized officer, agent, or employee of Routt County or any other person shall not affect the risks or obligations assumed by the contractor or relieve him from fulfilling any of the conditions of the contract for the purpose of this project.
