Site work for a water / sewer project in North Palm Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Provide labor, equipment and materials for the manufacture and installation of a Golf Course Irrigation Pump Station for the North Palm Beach Country Club No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing date for the receipt of bids. The Village of North Palm Beach shall accept the bid proposal of the responsible proposer that best meets the needs of the Village, taking into consideration, among other things, the financial responsibility of the proposer, capability to perform the contract on a timely basis, previous satisfactory performance, and such other abilities of the proposer that the Village, in its sole discretion, determines will enable the proposer to perform effectively and efficiently. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bid proposals, in whole or in part, to make awards either as individual items or as a total combined proposal, whichever it considers in the best interest of the Village, and to waive any informality in any bid proposals. Main Pump Station - A 1800 GPM System (3 - 60 HP Motors) MANUFACTURE REQUIREMENTS The pump station manufacturer shall supply a prefabricated pumping station, with all equipment fabricated and mounted on a structural steel base. The pump station shall be shipped as a complete unit. All equipment used to construct and assemble the pump station shall be warranted by the pump station manufacturer and no "third party" primary warranties shall exist. The pump station manufacturer shall have installed a minimum of fifty (50) VFD stations on golf courses. GOLF STATION PERFORMANCE The pump station shall be responsible as the sole source of supplying water to the Golf Course Irrigation System. The required volume of flow, to be measured at the discharge connection, shall be 1,800 GPM, at a delivery pressure of 110 PSI, 254 feet of head. The station shall have three (3) 60 horsepower (HP) vertical turbine motors with pumps that shall be built to a length of ten feet (10') each, and a five (5) HP submersible line maintenance pump. The power (to be supplied by the Owner) shall be 460 VAC, three (3) phase. The pump station shall have as components: o 1800 RPM Motors on all Pumps o Mechanical Seals on all Pump Assemblies o Variable frequency drive on each of the three (3) Main Motors o Programmable Cooler o Air/Water Heat Exchanger (No Air Conditioner) o Motor Condensation Space Heaters o Operator Interface on the panel door o Leak Proof Mechanical Seals on all Pumps o Main Power Disconnect on Panel Door o Panel Door Alarm Lights and Control Switches o System Pressure Relief Valve o Pump Check Valves on all Pumps o Individual Main Pump Air In/Out Relief Valve o Self-Flushing Wye Strainer with 1/16" Filtration with Automatic Self-Flushing Valve o Pump Intake and Discharge Isolation Valves o System Pressure Relief Valve Isolation Valves o Pump Station/Field Isolation Valve o Line Maintenance Pump Isolation Valve o Air Release Valve on Discharge Manifold o Eight-inch (8") by ten-foot (10') Discharge Line Size flanged on both ends Spool Piece for Discharge Extension through Pump House Wall o Three-sixteenths inch (3/16") Diamond Plate Base o NEMA 3 Enclosure o 7.5 KVA Transformer o Fluid Filled Pressure Gauges o 2 Operation/Service Manuals o Radio Modem for Remote Communication o Control and Communication Software for Remote Analysis and Adjustment with the Rainbird Nimbus or Toro Lynx Software Package The above requirements are to be viewed as minimum, and should these specifications be limiting in nature to the standard specification of the manufacturer for a Vertical Turbine, 3 Pump, VFD Pump Station delivering 1,500 GPM at 110 PSI, then the manufacturer's standard specification shall supersede these written specifications only in those areas where the manufacturer's standard specification improves the performance, reliability, and durability of the pump station. PUMP STATION SHIPMENT, PLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION The Proposer shall be responsible for loading, shipping and unloading the pump station, inclusive of trucking and crane expenses. The Proposer shall also provide a Contractor to install and connect the pump station on site. This connection for new pump station shall be made at the butterfly valve connecting to existing z pipe. Upon arrival to the job site, the Pump Station shall be unloaded and placed on site. The Pump Station Manufacturer shall provide a representative/technician on site during the installation of the station. The Pump Station Manufacturer shall provide a twelve (12) month warranty on the entire system. All warranties shall not commence until the final start up by the Local Service Representative has been performed and completed and this new station is made operational. The Pump Station Manufacturer will provide a technician/representative to be responsible for Start-Up of the Pump Station. SLAB/PUMP HOUSE Existing and requires an onsite visit to review existing conditions and any alterations that have be made to the existing pump house will first be approved by the Village. ELECTRICAL Existing and requires an onsite visit to review the existing conditions and any alterations that have to be made to the existing electrical service shall be outlined in the Bid Proposal and priced accordingly.
