Eastern Park - Road and Parking Lot Paving This Request for Proposal is to fine grade and pave the entrance road and parking lot at Eastern Park located at 450 Hwy 70, Smyrna, NC. Currently the road and parking lot are covered with compacted stone. There currently is 10-12 inches of compacted stone on the road and the parking lot. The County desires to have this road and parking lot graded, and paved with two inches of SF9.5B over the 4,730 square yards and parking lot striped. Carteret County reserves the right to reject any or all responses; to disqualify incomplete or improper submittals, waive minor defects as it deems applicable, request additional information from any respondent, change or modify the scope of the project at any time without penalty, negotiate terms with one or more respondents, reject any or all proposals without penalty and take steps necessary to act in the County's best interest. Scope of work: The Contractor can close the location for business for a short period if so desired and scheduled with the County. o The Contractor shall grade current material for base of paving so road and parking lot will drain properly. o The Contractor shall furnish necessary equipment and quality products for site preparation and finish product. (C) The Contractor shall fine grade and furnish two inches of SF9.5B over 4,730 SY. o The Contractor shall stripe the parking lot. o Contractor shall have all licenses required by State laws governing their respective trades and that North Carolina General Statue 87 will be observed in receiving and awarding contracts.
