Project consists of renovating the existing Wayne County Courthouse restrooms; providing new finishes, ADA compliance where possible, new fixtures, accessories and lighting. Work includes modifications of the existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the new work listed above. The existing structure is located at 301 East Main Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374. Bids shall remain valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the Bid due date. It is the Owners intent to award the Project under Separate Prime Contracts for Construction. See Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work in the Project Manual for detailed contract description. The Owner will require a Bid Bond from an acceptable Surety or Certified Bank Draft in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid payable to the Owner. The Bid Bond or Certified Bank Draft shall remain in force for a period of forty-five (45) days after the Bid due date. The Bid Security of all unsuccessful Bidders will be returned promptly after an award is made or in the event that all Bids are rejected. The Bid Security of the successful Bidder will be returned when satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance Certificates have been furnished and the Contract for Construction has been fully executed. Included with their Bids, all Bidders shall submit a Non-Collusion Affidavit, Contractors Qualification Statement - AIA Document A305 (1986 Edition), and Bid Bond with attached Power of Attorney or Certified Bank Draft The Architect/Engineer will furnish Bid Forms, Non-Collusion Affidavits, and Materials and Subcontractors Listing to all Bidders of record. The last day for written questions (RFI) will be Wednesday, June 15, 2022 with a final Addendum to be issued on Friday, June 17, 2022 if needed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding and to award Bids in any manner or combination he so desires.
