Site work for a road / highway in Barrhead, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
1. Remove and replace approximately 4000 ft2 of concrete (2 driveways). 2. Concrete shall also be replaced in Garbage chute collection area on West Side. 3. Prepare area to receive new concrete. 4. Proof Roll area for deficiencies. 5. Bollards may be salvaged and reinstalled(if possible). BDSHA shall approve before reinstallation. 6. Concrete shall have 15 mm rebar reinforcement. Rebar shall overlap and be tied at 12” intervals. 7. Concrete shall be 30-35 MPA. 8. New Concrete shall be tied into existing building foundation walls or slab where possible. No tie-ins to retaining wall. 9. New slab shall be a uniform 6” thick throughout 10. All concrete shall be broom finished. 11. Concrete shall be tool cut. 12. All concrete shall be sealed using an acceptable product. Sealant shall be applied according to manufacturers specifications. 13. Upon Completion of project, Contractor will clean and repair area to BDSHA satisfaction (See general Conditions below). All excavations due to the work performed under this scope must be backfilled with an approved material.
