Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Barrhead, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 1500 mm CSP culvert with a 19.8 m invert length and the installation of new 2 - 1800 mm CSP culverts with 22.0 m invert lengths. The crossing is located on Range Road 35 over a tributary to the Shoal Creek, 6 km Southwest of Vega. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work for this project shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation Removal and disposal of the existing culvert Excavation – Structural CSP supply and assembly Backfill Roadway work Supply and Install Heavy Rock Riprap (Class 1) Supply and Install Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Rolls) Supply and Install Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C) Fish Capture and Release (Deletable) Documents can be obtained from https://mpaeng.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award is subject to final approval.
