IMACS is a continuation of the multi-year program to replace proprietary single-source building automation at the MAC with open architecture automation like LonTalk, Modbus and BACnet. In addition to this replacement, the program’s goals include extending automation to meet the needs of the five IMACS user groups: the EMC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry and IT. Phase 13 creates IMACS homepage for MAC Facilities; provides door monitoring at T1 Tug Drive and Light Rail Atuomatic Doors; Sump Pump re-numbering; Mechanical replacement at Field Maintenance, EMC, and Trades; Update Electrical graphics and monitoring at Out Buildings; XL Controller replacements throughout MAC campus buildings. 32% Goals for Minority participation in each trade. 20% Goals for Female participation in each trade.
