Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Peres, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 2,672 SY of concrete streets, concrete and asphalt driveway aprons, inlets and 21 LF of 12" storm sewer pipe connecting to the existing system. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. Schedule is flexible, as long as work is completed within sixty calendar days and by November 18, 2022. But once work starts, the contractor must make continous progress per the conditions of the contract. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
