Site work and paving for a road / highway in Des Peres, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Scope of Work includes preparing and sealing of cracks and joints in city streets, providing traffic control and other incidental items as indicated on the construction drawings and specifications. It is anticipated this work will take place in April 2023, weather permitting. These same streets were cracksealed in 2021, or have since been resurfaced/reconstructed, so the amount of material needed should be lower than a first-time application. All bidders are expected to visit the project locations and become familiar with conditions. A detailed Street List and maps are included. Bids and payment are to be based upon Centerline Feet, and actual quantities will not be measured in the field. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
