Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Des Peres, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 12,000 SF of concrete sidewalk slabs and approximately 30 curb ramps in Dougherty Ridge and Dougherty Woods subdivisions. Sidewalk replacement with the goal of replacing all trip hazards throughout the neighborhood. The scope may be reduced in order to stay within the budget. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. It is anticipated that work will take place in April/May 2023, as weather allows. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
