Bidders shall submit two (2) copies of the Bidon exact copies of the Bid Form provided. A Conflict of Interest Questionnaire (Form CIQ)and Certificate of Interested Parties (HB Form1295) must be returned with Bid. (Forms are provided with Spec Book) For construction of improvements including brick thin wall, tubular steel fencing,community monument pylons, and electrical/ lighting. A Cashier's Check or Bidder's Bond Payable to Galveston County M.U.D. No. 59 in the amount of not less than two percent (2%) of the bid submitted, outlined in the Contract Documents, must accompany the Bid. Bidders must have at least five years of confirmed experience on comparable size projects of a similar scope in the Houston Area. The successful bidder receiving contractaward must furnish Performance, Payment,and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of onehundred percent (100%) each of the total Contract price. Each such bond shall be executed by a corporate surety duly authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The winning bid is decided not by low pricebut by this standard: The responsible person or persons that, in the Boards judgment, will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the District's proposed improvements.
