The Ball Chatham Community Unit School District 5 will receive Sealed Bid Proposals on Fitness and Wellness Equipment and other items as described further in the written document. PLEASE RETURN THE bid form page(s) with your official bid. All pages must be returned with the bid to qualify your bid. If you are unable to submit a bid quotation at this time, and if you wish to remain on our list of potential suppliers, simply send us a written explanation. This invitation to bid is for equipment and related items. Quality and quantity of the items requested are provided in detail in the bid specifications. Bids may be withdrawn by certified return receipt mail or in person prior to the date and time established for the opening of the bids. The successful bidder may not withdraw, cancel or modify said bid after the bid document has been opened. The contract will be awarded after the June 2022 Board of Education meeting and orders will be placed at that time. The delivery of the item will be no later than August 1, 2022. The school district will not accept financial responsibility until all items ordered are delivered, inspected and found to be in proper condition. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and any and all irregularities in bidding procedures and to accept that bid which is in the best interest of the school district. Factors to be considered when determining the best value for the buyer are to be quality of the equipment, price, and service reputation of the. Low dollar bid is not the sole factor in awarding the contract. All decisions are final.
